Buddy's Magnificent Mutt Butter is made to help moisturize the skin & may help to ease many skin conditions that our prized pooches endure.

Just like us, our furry friends can experience skin so dry that it becomes irritated or painful. Dogs may also suffer from allergies or other skin issues that leave them itchy & scratchy. Dogs will often lick or scratch their skin to the point of doing real harm, which may allow infection into the skin. Depending on your dog's issue their coat may need more conditioning & protection than available with sometimes harsh traditional treatments. 

Always attempt to find the cause of your pet's distress before applying any kind of remedy. Dogs with food allergies, seasonal allergies or environmental issues may need a change to their diet or grooming routines. They may be the victim of a bacterial infection or mite infestation. There are many reasons that your dog's skin may be irritated.

Whatever the cause of their discomfort, applying this blend can help decrease skin irritation which can help stop annoying or painful licking & scratching. Of course if there are any open wounds or untreated sores always seek medical advice.

This butter is packed with great herbs known to be generally safe for dogs & beneficial for skincare. We've blended locally grown calendula, comfrey, St John's wort, dandelion root & rosemary whole herbs with lavender & rosemary essential oils in a high quality coconut oil & local beeswax base. All crafted to help your furry friend be a little more comfortable in their skin, so to speak. 

Massage the butter into the skin, paying close attention to raw skin or hotspots. If your pet is very dirty it's okay to shampoo first, especially if the skin is very irritated or inflamed, but please use a gentle soap or plain water & dry your pet thoroughly before applying the butter.

Soothing & cooling to your pet's skin, this cream will blend into the skin easily.

Apply as needed to ease dry or irritated skin or painful rash. As with all of our pet products it's 100% safe for licking for most pets, unless allergies are present.
